purses with a purposeThe S-Club and Soroptimist International of Calistoga partnered with the police department on an initiative they call, "Purses with a Purpose."

The group, consisting of around 20 girls, Soroptimist members, and School Resource Officer Sam Arlen, have been stuffing purses with toiletries and comfort items to be distributed to survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking, and domestic violence within Napa County.

Sometimes victims are only able to make it out with just clothes on their backs, so these little items can make a big difference. If you are interested in donating, you can bring new purses to the Calistoga PD lobby!
