About CJSHS

Calistoga High School Signs proclaiming Calistoga as the “Home of the Wildcats” welcome visitors to our picturesque town located at the northern end of Napa Valley. As the only high school in town since 1915, many business owners and town officials are Calistoga graduates, and the legacy of Wildcat Pride lives beyond any single season's won-loss record.

With an educational history shared by grandparents, parents and students, Calistoga Junior/Senior High School (CJSHS) benefits from high expectations for excellence and extensive community support. Despite changing demographics and new accountability requirements, each generation continues to affirm the truth of our school motto–“Home of Scholars and Champions.”

As a true neighborhood school, the entire community takes great pride in our learning environment. Tens of thousands of dollars from community- based organizations are used to supplement state and federal funding received by the school district. The Calistoga Education Foundation, Calistoga Wildcat Boosters, Calistoga Music and Arts Boosters, as well as many local service organizations provide financial support to fund a multitude of educational “extras” that enrich the educational opportunities of our students.
